Utility Rates

The billing cycle for utility bills is monthly.
To open a new utility account, please visit the Town Office.  A picture ID is required of all applicants. 

Water:
Section 86-36 of the Strasburg Town Code
Meter under 1": $14.60 minimum per 2,000 gallons
7.09 per 1,000 gallons over minimum
Outside of Town limits: same as above plus 40% more

Meter 1" & above: $15.15 minimum per 2,000 gallons
10.01 per 1,000 gallons over minimum
Outside of Town limits: same as above plus 40% more

Sewer:
(Based on Water Meter Size) : Section 86-207 of the Strasburg Town Code
Meter under 1": $14.46 minimum per 2,000 gallons
$7.85 per 1,000 gallons over minimum
Outside of Town limits: same as above plus 40% more

Meter 1" & above: $15.57 minimum per 2,000 gallons
$9.79 per 1,000 gallons over minimum
Outside of Town limits: same as above plus 40% more

Reconnection Fee: $50.00 when disconnected due to nonpayment

Reread Fee: $10.00

Test Meter: $10.00 (if meter is incorrect this will be refunded)

Water Deposit (all renters): $100
