Wastewater Projects

Due to the passage of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act , the Town of Strasburg must upgrade its existing wastewater treatment plant to meet the more stringent discharge requirements.  The Town has partnered with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. to design an expanded facility that will produce a high quality effluent and provide additional treament capacity to serve future needs.  The upgrade is projected to be completed by late 2011.
