Northern Shenandoah Business Park

The Northern Shenandoah Business Park represents a significant opportunity for new industrial and business development, yet it has remained mostly undeveloped. The town is seeking to broaden its economic base by attracting businesses and industries to the Park that will capitalize on the town's and the region's competitive advantages. 

Strasburg retained a consultant team, and in May of 2016 Camoin Associates, Pennoni and LPDA released a plan that: 

• identifies the industries that the town should target for the park; 
• analyzes and identifies infrastructure needs for the park; and
• provides a clear, step-by-step implementation plan. 

In August of 2016, the Strasburg Town Council voted to adopt the Northern Shenandoah Business Park (NSBP) Development Plan to serve as a pathway for the implementation. The full plan can be accessed under "Supporting Documents" at the bottom of this page. 

Since that time, staff has formed the NSBP Project Team to work on the various aspects of the plan. Updates on those individual components can be accessed by clicking on the project pages below.
